There is an adjustment that can be made to regulate the amount of injected oil. When I bought my 2000 Xplorer 400, I had the dealer adjust it so it gets a little more oil than is called for in the service manual. After 10 minutes or so of riding, my machine smokes more than it should, too. 1998 Xplorer 300. I mainly use this machine for haulin' deer, ice fishing or plowing driveway and recently I put a new battery in and it was draining it quickly. I have an old 2 stroke polaris xplorer 300 that i can't get running right. It used to run great a few weeks ago. Then the starter went bad, so it sat for a week until i got the new starter in.
